Updated at the latest after the end of each competition day.

Competition

In judo, you only compete on Saturday.
On Sunday, there will be a training session/workshop in the competition
venue.

Competition classes: Level 1-5

Classes: Men's and women's classes

Divisioning och matches

After the greeting ceremony, the divisioning begins.
The divisioning consists of a simple judo session where
you have the opportunity to warm up.

You will show your judo skills and become familiar with the competition
environment.

The divisioning helps the organizers create fair and balanced competition
groups.

After the divisioning, there is a lunch break. The competition continues
after lunch.

About judo

Judo is a Japanese martial art in which the objective is to overcome an opponent through techniques such as throws and holds.

Kicking and striking are not permitted.

In addition to providing effective full-body training, judo is based on a strong set of core values that are shared worldwide.

These values promote respect, discipline, and positive behaviour, and guide how we conduct ourselves and treat one another.
